It is Deepavali back in Singapore today and whhhhhhhhhhhhhat am i doing? Working. Tsk! Looks like the Hindu community isn't making headlines or demanding their rights here yet.
I managed to get 8hours (such rarity!) of sleep yesterday by sleeping before 1am! Though I think the sleep debt isn't fully paid yet thats why I'm still a little sleepy today, though much less than usual :)
Oh today I wore my first pair of boots in HK to work :) Well if I'm gonna be wearing my black boots on Fri for the Halloween thing after work, I really should be making a slow transition of them to appear at work right ;)
Hot (ok not that of importance, but pretty important) topic of HK news: Krispy Kreme is winding up business in HK. Only two out of five outlets are open, and they are at the airport. Sorry all of you guys, can't bring back any in Feb if it cant hold out til then!
Anyway, happy deepavali back at home :)
P.S. I realise that eating carrots/cucumber at my desk is a very strenuous task. I have to balance the pressure my teeth places on the food item without causing too high a decibel level. You can't really blame me if they're crunchy right.
Dad! One of the boys, i think his name is Zhou, in the hostel plays an er-hu! He says he just started learning too and his practising can be heard from upstairs. Guess what song he was playing: Do re mi! :)
