Finally. We could contact the IT dept to fix our wireless internet problem. As we got back about 40 mins ago, the boys have started using the Internet as well and not bathing as early as they usually do after they finish their daily pushups/situps.

And my ATM card came in the mail today! :) though i do realise that DBS HK does use alot of paper huh. They send me notifications for almost everything, that's crazy. Imagine all the paper used.

Well, the backdated entries on the last few weeks would start coming in proper soon already, since I have already typed them out on TextEdit anyway; I just need to upload the pictures to give all a better visualisation :) Btw, all the pictures on food are obviously the better days, it doesnt mean I eat like this all the time (I'd be broke), neither does it mean I do not eat - ok dad? :) It's just the better days with great food sponsored by the lovely people :)

Anyway today I decided to wake up a little earlier to test how long it took to take the ever-cheap-but-interesting-HK$2-to-anywhere tram ride from Central to Quarry Bay.


The weather's getting slightly cooler, which is more noticeable in the morning and night actually. Afternoon is stilll warmish. Well, looking forward to autumn and winter :)

With the view and the breeze it really can be a good choice on a day youre not in a rush. Luckily I left earlier today then. Not like I can rush the slow and steady tram anyway.


Today also happened to have construction at one point of the tram route. They had to shift away from the dug portions for awhile as the tram drove over the thin tracks.


Ruiming also decided to call today the use of the tram back to hostel. Our way of saving cash on some days when we still have the energy to do so :) and somehow, travelling with the boys can really make me laugh so hard that I sound like I'm hyperventilating. Other times they annoy me to exasperation! Let's pray I don't die of exasperation or hyperventilation.

Usual route to work: Minibus to Admiralty MTR, 6 MTR stops to Quarry Bay, Walk to Somerset House.
Usual duration: 0940 to 1010 (30 mins)
Usual cost: HK$10ish

Today's route: Walk to Mid-levels escalator, walk to Central, many many many tram stops to King's Road, Walk to Somerset House
Today's duration: 0905 to 1030 (1 hr 25 mins)
Today's cost: HK$2
