monday morning

The Internet is a little wonky again in the hostel, thus the wordy entries below without pictures.

I realise some things in the span of 2 hours I've been awake:

• My watch is about 10-15 mins fast that's why I've been so ridiculously punctual at work
• Cars are seriously much cheaper here; only maintainence (lack of car parks, fuel) is an issue. We have already seen tons of sportscars.
• I'm very reliant on bread as my lifeline
• Generally it seems that giving up their seats on public transport for others, is a very natural and spontaneous thing they do. They give them up immediately when the need arises. Something we can learn.

Well, have to go back to work now. Good morning all and Gor! Hope you enjoyed yourself yesterday - wish I was there! :( and I hope you didnt wear your TCHS uniform (if you still have it or if you can fit it)!

Edit: I was refreshing the press releases page on the Government Website and they had this really interesting announcement on 'One Person, One Letter' Free Post Day! Haha it's been an annual event as "letter-writing is a traditional and affectionate presentation of the art of communication. Its power to express love and care is very touching to the reader. We encourage people to keep in touch with someone dear to their heart by writing." Haha how cute is this idea! :)
