Our weekends this week werent as exciting as the last two weeks Haha I think we've gotten a little tired. But in any case it went more relaxed and less packed, in favour of the guys too :)
The other males have started to come into the hostel. None of them are any good-lookers anyway. But that's besides the point. They seem pretty nice and language barriers make it a little hard for us three to be that close to them anyway. But usual spoken language is Pu Tong Hua - something we three arent as proficient as we should! :)
I was suppose to shift upstairs with two other girls but I havent gotten the keys and the admin staff arent around on days that I can shift (weekends), when they are around, we all are working - so not sure how it's going to work out. I've packed 80% of my stuff and always to get one of the boys to accompany me when I bathe. And yes yes I lock my doors.
Anyway, we did usual sports on Sat morning (Peter: soccer, Ruiming: tried to accompany me for a run, but his inbetween Macs breakfast kinda took a little toll on him!). Was prepping to shift items to upstairs when we realise the girl wasnt in as well.
It started to rain too, cos there was a chance to have another typhoon this weekend, but it deteriorated to heavy rains thats it. Even on Sunday. So we stayed in before we made our way out to send our laundry and to go to Causeway Bay to meet their bosses.
Yes, a little odd, but their 3 bosses wanted to watch a movie and called us along. To watch the movie, one that is even odder to watch with bosses, The Duchess.
Edit: The Creepy Stalker has reminded me about Duchess without a 't'.
For the boys, it was realllly odd and little awkward, since well, there are intimate scenes in the movie. Not a ideal bonding thing to do with female bosses and 2 male interns.
The show wasnt too bad, though I felt it was very female-slanted - no development on the Duke, politics or how the Dutchess rose to be very well-liked. Well, the boys are biased towards Keira Knightly so yah.
We kinda spent quite a bit today: (More costly than our usual) Dinner, Movie ticket (HK$70) and even ice cream at Häagen-Dazs cos the bosses wanted to eat that after the movie. So to ease the guilt, we decided to take the tram back at night, even though we were a little late to meet the 11pm curfew already.
Sunday was a very very wet day. I used my umbrella (DAD! See! Got use!) to walk to church and to walk back to the hostel since we had to get food for Ruiming who didnt need to be at church and was stranded.
Our day was mostly spent in hostel due to the heavy rains and even when Ruiming and I were at Central we had to cut our exploration short since the rains were just getting bad. Thank goodness I was in a skirt and sandals - though the rain wet my legs all the way to the knees!
I'm currently trying to arrange a trip to Ocean Park - to experience their annual Halloween Bash, which is very sought after! For slightly more than a month, the whole Ocean Park amusement place is decorated and themed with Halloween and tickets get sold out really fast! It is just an entrance fee and then unlimited rides and entries to the different haunted houses, which is unlike those that require you to pay-per-ride/entry.
Well, halloween isnt a big thing in SGP and we dont have something like that, plus Aunty Lay Hwa HIGHLY RECOMMENDS us to go even though we might get scared in our pants! Haha tickets costs HK$225 though, and we cant use the student concession cos we arent "Hong Kong Full Time University Students".
Ohwell, the weekend's over and monday's on its way, though we have another public holiday to look out for this week! :)
