This time it was taking a walk (instead of a minibus) to Central (not Admiralty) through the Mid-levels escalator and to tap on this MTR HK$2 saver thing. Then take the train to Quarry Bay.
Duration took about 45mins (including walking to station and to office) and costing a fee of HK$3.40 (with the discount of HK$2). Much cheaper than the mini-bus-MTR route (~HK$10) but more expensive compared to the walk-tram route (HK$2, which really is the cheapest it can get).
When I was walking to the escalator, my elvish ears picked out another Singaporean
Edit: I didnt even notice it, Jie! Thanks! :)
This pink-shirt-clad bob-haired girl was walking and chatting on the phone (presumingly another Singaporean) with snippets like these:
"Goooot."
"She did have something, but it was later in the daaaay"
"So how, you want to makan?"
Haha. I think it's the dragging of some of our vowels when we speak :)
SIGH and the new low-heeled shoes? They have already given me at least three watery blisters within 2 hours of wearing :(
I've got two plasters on and a dread to walk to the toilet, to fill water or to have lunch. SIGH.
Edit: the blisters broke with the plasters on, and it was quite a funny experience to feel them pop when wearing the shoes - since I still had to wear some footwear to go buy some food right - it was like a squish. looks like the shoes will be put aside for bad behaviour for awhile. Or more reason to buy more, if not, better ones :)
P.S. Man! I keep seeing editorial departments get deliveries (possibly PR packages) from brands like L'Occitane, Kiel's, Dymocks and CK i think!

How do your ears pick up scent? Wrong organ, my dear. Use your nose.
